Pajama Project: If you can spare time to come join us in the Family Center, we'd love to see you! Come for a little while or spend the whole day. Any time you can share with us is truly appreciated. We will serve lunch for volunteers during the noon hour. If you'd like to help in another way, we are always looking for someone to provide lunch for our hard working volunteers by bringing in food or donating money which we'll use to pick up something local. No matter the size, all donations are a great benefit. If you like to sew, or know someone who does, we have kits available to take home and construct.

A reminder of future Work Days scheduled on Saturdays from 9:00 to 2:00: May 26, June 30, July 28, August 25, September 29

Centering Prayer: Bethlehem Lutheran will be beginning a centering prayer group every Monday from 4:30-6:00 starting May 16th.  This is a Christ-centered contemplative practice of meditation whose focus is to welcome God’s loving presence and healing action to the center of our being.  It is a receptive prayer, not an active prayer, but one where we simply consent to rest in his presence.  It is not intended to replace a prayer practice but to enrich and deepen your relationship with Christ.  You can check out Contemplative Outreach North San Diego at www.consd.org.  Contact me if you have any questions: Virginia Erickson  virginiaerickson0@gmail.com

The San Dieguito Interfaith Ministerial Association (SDIMA) invites you to their monthly meetings to explore and learn about other religious beliefs and to openly discuss their doctrines and teachings.  Our membership includes individuals drawn from all major faith traditions, who not only benefit from personal spiritual growth through interfaith engagement but are also part of a movement promoting understanding and the importance of spiritual life in our community.  Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at Seaside Center for Spiritual Living 1613 Lake Drive, Encinitas, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00.  A lunch is provided.  If you would like further information, please contact Dianne Nichols, the representative for Bethlehem Lutheran Church at diannenichols86@gmail.com.
